The diva singer Madonna fell off stage last night during her performance at the 2015 Brit Awards.
It appears that the 56 year old singer was standing precariously at the top of a small flight of stairs when one of her dancers tried to remove an Armani cape which she had been wearing from the start of the performance. As the cape was tied too tight the tug sent her tumbling backwards landing on her back.
Not phased by the fall she recovered as if nothing had happened to continue her song, Living For Love.
After the performance she issued a statement saying she was “fine” and that her cape had been “tied too tight”.
This is not the singers first fall on stage and has had accidents previously in Lisbon in 2008 where she fell over backwards after what can only be described as humping a guitar. In the same year in Brazil she slipped again backwards on what looked like a slippy stage. Montreal 2012 she jumps onto a backing singers back and cause them both to fall backwards. During her Sweet and Sticky tour saw her take a trip in a performance of She’s Not Me in 2008. And finally The Halftime show of the Superbowl in 2012 saw her slightly fall backwards but she quickly regains her footing.
